Acicular radial dumortierite inclusions in quartz, from the Vaca Morta Quarry, owned by the Vasconcelos family, in Chapada Diamentina, Bahia, Brazil. Rarely available, blue dumortierite occurs intergrown with the base of two well terminated quartz crystals.
