Aventurine

Aventurine is a name used for several different minerals, as well as synthetic sparkly glasses (like goldstone and blue goldstone). Usually aventurine is a type of green quartz with inter-grown mica or hematite giving a sparkly appearance. The name "aventurine" is also used for some feldspars that contain sparkly inclusions.
