Unlike the flashier green-blue smithsonite, this specimen is of the rarer type, known as "turkey fat" due to its color and globular form, uncannily similar to the fat you find in that Thanksgiving turkey. From the New Jersey Zinc Mine, Hanover-Fierro District, Grant County, NM.
